NEW! Granny Planner (physical item)
A brand new planner design is here! Introducing: The Granny Planner!
This original Kandi Planner concept was designed with bag makers in mind!
Laid out in a 4 x 6 format, there are a total of 24 Squares for you to utilize in your designing process. Take the guesswork out of project planning! No more wondering, "will these colors look good together?" or second guessing your finished results!
THIS IS A MADE TO ORDER ITEM!!!!
Please be aware that the piece you are ordering today is NOT in stock, and will need to be custom printed to your specifications. :) My inventory says "in stock" because my machines are available for the job! <3
CURRENT TURNAROUND TIME: ~2-4 weeks
Generally speaking, most orders leave my little studio within 2-4 weeks from your date of purchase. Turnaround times can and do vary greatly during the year and depend on the season, so the best way to estimate how long your wait might be will be to email me directly! (MamaCatzCrafts@gmail.com) Sometimes the wait is as little as one week, and at other times it could be as long as four weeks. I am trying to figure out a way to integrate an app or code a bit of software to help customers better track their orders and send notifications about progress updates! Until I can make that happen, though, emailing me for a direct update is always welcomed!
- Finished Product Size: 360mm x 240mm x 7.5mm (14.2" x 9.5" x 0.3")
- Finished Product Weight: 15 ounces (this is an approximate weight; actual weight varies by an ounce or so between the different densities of my various filament brands/colors)
- Other Details: This is a 3D printed piece! I use PLA filament for all of my work. Some colors have a glossy finish, others have a more matter finish, but all have an excellent tactile feel! All pieces undergo a post-processing cleaning after printing to ensure you get the quality you paid for.
-
Post Processing: After each print comes off my machines, I spend an additional two hours on post-print clean-up work. While they do come off the beds looking great, they definitely look their best after some additional hands-on time! Here's what the process looks like:
- Sanding: I spend between 30-60 minutes sanding the entire piece; this includes all top surfaces, knocking burrs off bead slot edges, rounding down the upper and lower board corners, and rounding the bottom edges smooth. (the bottom flat side rarely needs sanding, but it is always taken care of if the need is there)
- Cleaning: After sanding, I use an air compressor to blow off most of the filament dust before giving the print a bath in warm, soapy water (I prefer regular, unscented Dawn dish soap). A small brush is used to scrub every individual bead slot to remove dust and debris.
- Treating: Once finished with their bath, the boards are laid out to air dry completely before I move on to using a heat gun to remove small strings of filament and to anneal the layers one more time.
- Finishing: As a final step, I take a clean sponge dipped in very small amount of mineral oil (unscented) and give all sanded surfaces a quick wipe-down + final buffing with a microfiber cloth to give them the professional look and feel my work is known for!
- Color Note: I use five different brands of filament for my prints, so if you are looking to match the color of a print you have purchased from me before, please send me an email with a photo of your Kandi Planner! (MamaCatzCrafts@gmail.com) I rotate between brands based on availability and pricing, and while most colors match pretty seamlessly between these brands, there is a chance the filament type I have in stock (regular and/or matte) may not color match your current Planner correctly. Since I use a limited number of brands and colors, I can easily match your filament color/finish based off a quick photo or two :)

*All of my 3d printed items are priced based on the weight of the finished print, the total length of printing time, the filament cost, and my hands-on post processing work. I strive to price my work fairly, and I believe the quality of my work to be well worth the investment! <3 Please understand that I will not haggle prices, no matter the circumstances. My work keeps a roof over my daughter's head and food in our pantry, and I am proud of the balance I have struck between price vs quality vs value. Your support of my work is and always will be appreciated more than you know! <3
